Of 37,506 respondents, 89 percent said they don’t think President Trump’s actions are impeachable in response to a Wednesday Twitter poll from the Washington Journal.

The Washington Journal, C-SPAN’s morning call-in show, then opened up its phone lines for viewers to chime in on the question.
“I’m very angry about this. Adam Schiff and everybody says we’re not intelligent, we’re not going to use ‘quid pro quo’ because we’re too stupid to understand what the word means,” said one caller from Connecticut. “I’m really tired of this, and let’s start working for the American people. This is not about Ukraine—it’s about we can’t accept the results of the election.”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said during a Thursday press conference that she has advised the House committees tasked with investigating President Trump to proceed with articles of impeachment.
“The president’s actions have seriously violated the Constitution,” said Pelosi, claiming President Trump “leaves us no choice but to act.”
The House Judiciary Committee will be responsible for drafting articles of impeachment and held its first formal impeachment hearing Wednesday.
“Speaker Pelosi and the Democrats should be ashamed,” White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said after the Speaker’s press conference. “Donald Trump has done nothing but lead our country—resulting in a booming economy, more jobs and a stronger military, to name just a few of his major accomplishments. We look forward to a fair trial in the Senate.”

President Trump said on Twitter that the “good news” is that the Republican Party has “never been more united.”
“The Do Nothing, Radical Left Democrats have just announced that they are going to seek to impeach me over NOTHING,” he wrote on Twitter. “This will mean that the beyond important and seldom used act of impeachment will be used routinely to attack future presidents. That is not what our founders had in mind.”
….This will mean that the beyond important and seldom used act of Impeachment will be used routinely to attack future Presidents. That is not what our Founders had in mind. The good thing is that the Republicans have NEVER been more united. We will win!
